MY KIT-COLLECTION  

This collection is created using mainly Domino-Knitting and Shadow-Knitting as I love working with these techniques. I will of course work with other techniques too.  I love techniques that are fun to knit and I want the garments to be interesting to look at and flattering to wear. With the color journey these techniques have brought to my life, who knows what the future might bring!
It is important to me that knitting is amusing and great fun, as well as being truly knittable.  I cannot say that my designs are for beginners, but the instructions are very detailed and instructive, so - if you can keep a gauge - just get started.

YARN

I have selected a heathered yarn to work with. Now I have found Harrisville, NH or I might say they have found me, I work with their wonderful yarn. It is 100% pure wool, and 50% of the wool is merino, which make the garments very soft, when washed.

The Harrisville wool is nice to wear when knitted, it fits my designs and above all the range of colors is exiting. 
I also wanted the durability of the yarn to be satisfactory so that a garment you have spent many hours knitting will remain  beautiful for years.

COLORS

I have always been a color freak. I love to spend hours combining different colors, knitting a lot of swatches showing various color combinations before I find the right color scheme for every garment. 
I like my garments colorful, and believe me - each color has been carefully selected.
That made the work with Harrisville so satisfactory as I got the most satisfactory color range and even 8 colors of my own added to it.

KITS

Each model is available as a kit and comes in a plastic bag with yarn, photos and instruction. This guarantees that you receive the correct yarn, colors and the desired end result!

SIZES

In my collection you will find designs for all sizes even size XS and XXL. If you want a big size - look especially for: Tribute to MARIMEKKO, BUMBLEBEE, ZIGZAG and TRIP-TRAP.

Often the same garment will fit the short and/or slim knitters. Its only a question of choosing the right size. Some of the garments are only meant for slim persons, such as SHADOWS etc.

HOW TO CHOOSE SIZES 
Find a garment of your own that fits you. Measure length and width. Look at the measurements of my designs (Look at the site: Collection), compare with your favorite measurements, and then make your choice.
Some garments, for instance ZIGZAG are very wide, but these garments are meant to be wide.

YARN STORES

Colors and yarn are not the same on the screen as they are in real life. On my computer some are nice and some are bad. But if you do not have the chance of seeing the garment/kits "live" in a yarn store - you need to trust my color combinations. See the dealer list on www.harrisville.com.
