There are lots of possibilities in knitting the scarves and caps from this book.
This strawberrie-cap and scarf is really cute - made of mohair yarn.

This is a ring knitted of very thin mohair and you can use it as a scrug or a scarf or a scarf - there are so many possibilities.

But .... it is a Japanese book!!! Yes but the technical part has English text as well and there are lots of How-To-drawings - so I would say it is possible. At least you can get inspired by it.
