RAINBOW Jacket
Story
Designing for yarn-companies I could not choose colors freely. Often if I used too wild color-combinations - I was asked to make the design in the always popular blue or greyish colors, which everybody likes. I hated that, as I love colors - also crazy colors.
So when I started my kit-collection, I enjoyed very much to decide on my own colors and I started up by using almost all the colors of a rainbow in my first creation - the first shadow-project - which I called JAPAN, be course the technique was from Japan. The design was later renamed - it is now called the RAINBOW-Jacket.
Knitting Procedure
The Jacket is worked in 2 pieces from the cuff to the center of the jacket and then grafted together along the Center Back.
